O'Mally's Hall at St Mary's Catholic Church
Sound in Churches is probably one of the largest segments of the sound installation industry. I have heard from other "professionals" that churches are often the places you can make the most money as they will put in a lot more then they really need. This is exactly the opposite of our concept of church sound systems. Our goal is to work with what the church has both in current equipment and budget. This job was a great example of this, their maintenance crew approached us, the old speaker they had with this system was garbled sounding and they wanted something better. We could have told them to scrap everything and we would start over. However their power head was still working fine (pictured in the center) and was completely sufficient for what they needed. We simply picked out some high end commercial grade speakers that matched up well and would do what they needed. We also upgraded their wireless systems and helped get everything wired up for them. The end result was they spent a lot less than they would have replacing everything and achieved a better quality sound then they ever expected.
